![]() If you do not have the image restore option, with out a CD-ROM you are kinda up a creek, as if you take the HDD and install on another system, that can cause some problems when you install the drive on your notebook as windows loaded all the hardware info from the original PC. You have the option to restore or exit, choosing restore, will erase all data on the drive, reinstall windows, the device drivers, and original software (based on model i would say purchased around 2004-2005 so the restore may not have been on the system to begin with) ![]() (2) if you can not get in to windows, or do not want to download the file, you can reboot the computer and when you see the Dell logo hold the CNTRL key and tap F11, this should take you to the System restore menu by symantic. Tip: If you want to reinstall Windows 10 on a PC that already has Windows 10 activated, use the Upgrade this PC now option.
